Experience God:
Inward Transformation =
Outward Manifestation
"But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the image from glory to glory, just as from the Lord, the Spirit." - 2 Cor 3:18
Our Gatherings

Worship
We believe that worship is essential to the Christian life. Though we know that worship is not only music, but is our very life we live given in surrender to Him, we do have a large focus on praise and adoration in the area of music and ministering to the Lord.

Build Community
With the early church as an example, we see how important community is. We are of one body, lifting one another up, iron sharpening iron, one helping to meet the needs of another, stirring one another up in good works. All to fulfill the call on our lives and to walk in a manner worthy of the call to which we've been called.

Grow in God's Word
Now is the time for us to progress beyond the basic message of Christ and advance into perfection. The foundation has already been laid from our dead works to embrace faith in God. (Hebrews 6:1)
Who We Are
The Gathering Table began in 2019 as a small home church in Merrill, meeting together to worship, pray with and for one another and read scripture, much like the early church did. Over time we began to see the healing and transformation in the lives of the people that would come to join us. And in early 2020 God began to put on our hearts to expand in a space where the community could also experience Him the way we were.
Our hearts are for people to come and experience Jesus in a tangible way, to know Him personally and not just about Him. "And this is the way to have eternal life- to know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, the one you sent to earth." - John 17:3
We are believing for all who come to be set free from whatever may hold them captive. Come and sit at His table with us, taste and see the the Lord is good!!
What We Believe
Statement Of Faith
The Bible
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to mankind, the infallible rule of faith and conduct, and is superior to conscience and reason, but not contrary to reason (2 Timothy 3:15-16; 1 Peter 2:2).
The One True God
We believe in one true God that has revealed Himself as eternally existent in three persons yet One Lord; The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Deuteronomy 6:4; Mark 12:29; Isaiah 43:10-11; Matthew 28:19).
Communion
The ordinance of Communion is also a commandment of the Lord Jesus that must be received consistently until His return. Only believers can come to the Table of the Lord, which consists of the bread and the cup.
The bread – His body, which was broken for us.
The cup – His blood that was shed for us.
Both elements are witnesses of the New Covenant believers now enjoy while prophetically declaring His soon return (2 Peter 1:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26).
Baptisms:
Holy Spirit
All believers are entitled to, and should eagerly expect, and earnestly seek the promise of the Father, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, and fire, according to the command of our Lord Jesus Christ. This was the normal experience of all in the early Christian Church. With it comes the enduement of power for life, speaking in new tongues, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry (Luke 24:29; Acts 1:4, 8; I Corinthians 12:1-31). This wonderful experience is distinct from and after the experience of the new birth (Acts 10:44-46; 11:14-16; 15:7-9).
Water
Baptism in water, by full immersion, is a commandment of our Lord. It is for all believers. This holy sacrament identifies the believer with Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection (Matthew 28:19; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:4; Acts 20:21; Hebrews 10:22).
Sanctification
The Scriptures teach a life of holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. By the power of the Holy Ghost, we are able to obey the command, Be holy, for I AM holy. Entire sanctification is the will of God for all believers and should be earnestly pursued by walking in obedience to God's Word (1 Thes 5:23, 1 Cor 1:30, 2 Cor 3:18)
Healing
Deliverance from sickness is provided for in the atonement and is the privilege of all believers. We believe that we are given the power and mandate through Jesus Christ to heal all those oppressed by the devil. (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:16-17, Matthew 10:8)
The Return of Christ
The Man Jesus Christ became God in the flesh to redeem mankind back to Himself through His own blood. His salvation is for all men and His promise is to return for a prepared Bride to establish His Kingdom and rule fully on the earth. Revelation 1:8, “I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Rev. 21:1-4; Acts 1:9-11; Rev. 1:7; Matt. 25:1; 1 Thess. 5:1-3)
